Last updated: April 15, 2026
Effective date: April 15, 2026
Important Notice
By using Sick Call Ranger, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully. These Terms contain a binding arbitration clause and class action waiver that affect your legal rights.
1. Critical Disclaimers
NOT LEGAL, MEDICAL, OR CLAIMS REPRESENTATION
Sick Call Ranger is NOT and does NOT provide:
- Legal advice or legal representation
- Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Accredited VA claims agent or attorney services
- Veterans Service Organization (VSO) representation
- Claim filing, claim preparation, or claim strategy advice
- Guaranteed claim outcomes or ratings
- Official VA forms or documents
Sick Call Ranger is software that analyzes and organizes medical records. Veterans file their own claims via VA.gov, an accredited VSO, or an accredited attorney.
1.1 Informational Purposes Only
All content, analyses, summaries, and AI-generated materials provided through the Service are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not substitutes for professional legal, medical, or claims assistance from qualified professionals.
1.2 No Attorney-Client or Provider-Patient Relationship
Your use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship, medical provider-patient relationship, or any fiduciary relationship between you and SickCallRanger Claims LLC or its employees, contractors, or affiliates.
1.3 AI Limitations
Our AI systems, while advanced, have inherent limitations. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. The AI cannot:
- Replace professional medical evaluation or diagnosis
- Provide binding legal opinions
- Guarantee accuracy of condition identification or document summaries
- Account for all individual circumstances affecting your records
- Replace the judgment of a qualified VSO, attorney, or medical professional
1.4 Your Responsibility to Verify
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all AI-generated content before using it for any purpose. You should consult with an accredited Veterans Service Organization (VSO), VA-accredited attorney, or claims agent before filing any claim or appeal.
1.5 No Guarantee of Outcomes
We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the outcome of any VA claim, appeal, or benefits decision. Claim outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including the evidence you provide, VA regulations, and the individual determinations of VA adjudicators.
2. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to SickCallRanger Claims LLC (doing business as "Sick Call Ranger"; "we," "us," "our," or the "Company"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sick Call Ranger website located at sickcallranger.vet, our mobile applications, and all related services, features, content, and applications (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email and/or by posting a notice on our website at least thirty (30) days before the changes become effective. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
3. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction;
- Be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, an active duty service member, a reservist or National Guard member, or an authorized representative acting on behalf of a veteran;
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of another person (such as a family member or client), you represent and warrant that you have proper legal authority to do so and that such person has consented to your use of the Service on their behalf.
4. Description of Service
Sick Call Ranger is an AI-powered platform that scans, summarizes, and organizes veterans' own medical records. Sick Call Ranger does not file claims, prepare claims, or provide legal or claims representation. The Service provides the following features:
4.1 Document Upload and Analysis
You may upload medical records, service treatment records, VA decision letters, DD-214 discharge documents, and other supporting documentation. Our AI systems will process these documents using optical character recognition (OCR) and natural language processing to extract relevant information.
4.2 Condition Identification and Analysis
Our AI analyzes your uploaded documents to identify medical conditions mentioned in those records. The system provides a summary of the supporting documents by type (diagnostic, treatment, medical opinion, service records), a documentation-depth categorization, and a breakdown of document types not found. These outputs describe what is in your records — they are not an assessment of claim merit, rating, or strategy.
4.3 Personal Statement Generation
The Service offers AI-assisted tools to help you draft personal statements. You may write your own statement and use AI to improve clarity, or use a guided questionnaire to generate a draft statement that you review and edit before using anywhere.
4.4 Buddy Letter Management
You may request supporting statements from fellow service members, family members, or other individuals who can attest to your conditions. The Service facilitates the collection and organization of these statements.
4.5 VA Letter Analysis
You may upload VA decision letters to receive AI-powered summaries of granted and denied conditions and identification of potential discrepancies in VA reasoning. The analysis is informational; Sick Call Ranger does not recommend appeal strategy.
4.6 Evidence Organizer
The Service provides tools to help you organize your documents into structured packets you can download or share. Any use of these packets in a VA submission is handled by you or your representative, not by Sick Call Ranger.
4.7 AI Veteran Advisor
An AI-powered chat assistant is available to answer informational questions about your records, explain what a document contains, or clarify what categories it falls into. The advisor does not provide claim strategy, legal advice, or medical advice.
5. Account Registration and Security
5.1 Account Creation
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
5.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Create a strong, unique password
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Log out from your account at the end of each session, especially on shared devices
5.3 Account Responsibility

6. User Responsibilities and Conduct
6.1 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information about your military service, medical history, and personal circumstances. Providing false information to the VA is a federal crime under 18 U.S.C. Section 1001 and may result in criminal prosecution, fines, and imprisonment.
6.2 Document Ownership
You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to upload, share, and use all documents you submit to the Service. You must only upload documents that are your own medical records, military records, or documents for which you have proper authorization.
6.3 Review of AI Content
You agree to carefully review all AI-generated content before using it for any purpose. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of any content you submit to the VA or other parties.
6.4 Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Submit fraudulent claims or misrepresent your medical conditions, military service, or other material facts
- Upload documents belonging to other individuals without proper authorization
- Use the Service to prepare claims for someone else without proper legal authority
- Attempt to manipulate or deceive our AI systems
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm our staff, other users, or third parties
- Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Page Credits System
The Service operates on a page credits system. You purchase page credits in advance, which are then consumed when you upload and process documents. The number of credits consumed equals the number of pages in your uploaded documents.
7.2 Free Tier
New users receive a one-time allocation of one hundred (100) free page credits upon account creation. Free credits expire after ninety (90) days of account inactivity.
7.3 Credit Packs
Additional page credits may be purchased through our credit packs. Pricing and pack options are displayed on our Credits page and may be updated from time to time. All purchases are processed securely through Stripe.
7.4 Payment Processing
All payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your complete credit card information on our servers.
7.5 No Refunds
All purchases of page credits are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. Credits are consumed immediately upon document processing and cannot be recovered once used. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@sickcallranger.vet within fourteen (14) days of the charge.
7.6 Credit Expiration
Purchased page credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. If your account is terminated or deleted, any remaining credits are forfeited and non-refundable.
7.7 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased. We will provide at least thirty (30) days' notice of any price increases.
7.8 Developer Support (Tips)
Sick Call Ranger accepts voluntary contributions ("tips") via the /support page and equivalent mobile deep-links. These tips are not charitable donations. Sick Call Ranger is a for-profit service and is not a registered 501(c)(3) or other tax-exempt entity. Contributions are used to fund ongoing operation, development, and availability of the Service. They do not entitle the contributor to additional page credits, premium features, discounts, or any tangible benefit.
Contributions are non-refundable and are not tax-deductible. Do not rely on any representation to the contrary. Contributions are processed by Stripe, Inc. on the same terms described in Section 7.4.
Contributors may choose to provide a name, email, and optional note, which we use to email a receipt and for our internal records. If you believe you contributed in error, contact us at support@sickcallranger.vet within fourteen (14) days and we will review the request at our sole discretion.
8. Intellectual Property

The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language and shall take place in Los Angeles County, California, or remotely via video conference at your election.
14.3 Class Action Waiver
